Session 36: Run Away–Then Come Back

Sometimes emotions get so high that you just want to run away, keep going, and never look back. We’ve all threatened to do that at one time or another, admit it! So stop threatening and do it! (Responsibly)

A friend of my sister shared the story of the day her boys were driving her up the wall, so she walked out the door and ran to the lake a few miles from her house. It was the beginning of her running career. She’s run countless marathons since then. It’s very therapeutic to “run away” even if it’s only for an hour.

I’m going to add this disclaimer: if you’ve got little ones, make sure you leave them in safe hands before you take off–and always come back!!
