Session 55: Play With Clay

It’s a recreation day, so let’s play with clay! We aren’t going to focus on a finished product–it’s more about squishing it in our hands, rolling it out, pressing it into shapes, smelling it, (not tasting it) pounding it if you need to. My 19 year old had some serious fun with pieces she found in our clay toys bin. It doesn’t matter how old you are, playing with clay is a great way to spend an afternoon, especially when the weather keeps you indoors. I bought Play Doh at Walmart for 88 cents each. You can make your own, too, but remember to refrigerate it when you’re finished playing. (It’s never fun to discover bags of mold.)
