Balance takes practice, patience, and thoughtfulness. If you rush it, you’ll fall. Balancing rocks, or creating a cairn, is a simple activity, but it will help you develop those three skills. Find a place today where rocks are plentiful. Start with a good base, then carefully start stacking one on top of the other. Go slow, breathe, think about your next move, laugh when things topple.
