Session 102: Tiny Reminders


By now we’ve got a hundred and one different sessions to choose from when we need a little boost. Sometimes it’s hard to put that first. Sometimes we fall back into bad habits when we feel stressed or sad or scared, whatever the feelings might be. We need tiny reminders to do something active or creative.

Cut out little one inch squares from colored paper. Get out your pens and stickers, or any other medium you like. Decorate the squares with images. You don’t need to add any words. When you’re finished, tape these little squares around your living space where you know you’ll see them, like a bathroom mirror, above doorknobs, in your wallet, on your tv remote. These squares will remind you to “check in” with yourself to see how you’re doing, and remind you to choose a session to play with.
