Session 128: Embroidery

I’m sending out a super quick post today because I’m hanging out with my daughter and grandbaby this week! Today’s session is embroidery. You can go with the classic cross stitch with a pattern, use a pre-printed picture on fabric, or make up your own, like we did! All you need is some graph paper to create your lettering, trace it onto fabric and stretch it on an embroidery hoop. Backstitch around each letter, then fill in the outer spaces with tiny straight stitches as pictured. You could do this with French knots, beads, or fill in the letters themselves instead.
