Session 161: Mystery Puzzle Challenge

Hello, everyone! I hope you all had a great holiday last week. I’m nearly back to normal after our big hike, and ready to dive back in with new sessions!

Today, we’re going to change our perspective and challenge our brains by playing with a mystery puzzle. Get out an old jigsaw puzzle or purchase one secondhand. Put the pieces into another box, and hide the original box out of view. Now here’s the twist—you have to put the puzzle together without the reference picture! It’s tough, but possible. (Three of us got our puzzle done in 24 hours, minus sleep time, of course!) You’ll really get to know each section of the picture, and be able to pick out details, solving the mystery of what goes where. It can get a little tiring, and you may want to quit, but I encourage you to keep going! It is nice to do this with other people. I find that if I put out a puzzle, people will usually gravitate toward it. They can’t help it!

We binge watched a lot of tv while putting ours together, mostly The Great British Baking Show and Moone Boy. Our cats wanted to get involved, too! What mystery puzzle will you try out?
